Founded in 2009, Spatial Architects is a Dhaka-based design studio registered in Bangladesh, actively engaged in delivering Architecture and Interior Design projects across both the private and public sectors. The studio is driven by a commitment to thoughtful, high-quality design that enhances the built environment and enriches everyday life.
The journey began in 2006, when Mohammad Naimul Ahsan Khan, along with three fellow graduates from the Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), established their first architectural practice, Matra Architects, at 6 Lake Circus, Kalabagan, Dhaka. Within a brief yet impactful span of three years, Matra Architects completed several significant projects and earned early recognition.
In 2009, with the closure of Matra Architects, Mohammad Naimul Ahsan Khan sought to continue that unfinished journey. Together with Farzana Rahman, he co-founded Spatial Architects, setting up the new studio at 58/2 Lake Circus, Kalabagan, Dhaka. The practice received its first trade license from the then Dhaka City Corporation on June 4, 2009.
Since its inception, Spatial Architects has steadily grown under the leadership of Principal Architects Mohammad Naimul Ahsan Khan and Farzana Rahman. Backed by a dynamic team of young and talented architects and engineers, the studio remains committed to delivering innovative, sustainable, and contextually responsive design solutions.
