This project draws inspiration from the spirit of Anjuman Mufidul Islam — a humanitarian bridge between the able and the helpless. Just as Anjuman stands as a messenger of humanity, the design reflects interconnectedness and compassion through a number of interdependent built forms. Each structure supports, shelters, and shades the other — symbolizing “man beside man.” Together, they form a unified, context-sensitive commercial complex in urban Dhaka, grounded in social responsibility and architectural empathy
The design uses a square grid based on the number 11, symbolizing prime purity and referencing traditional Indo-Islamic geometry. Starting with a base of 11’x11′, the grid scales up to 22’x22′ and 33’x33′ to meet spatial needs. These squares are symmetrically arranged to craft a balanced, composed façade.
